Giving instead of Getting on your birthday

IDEA #1:
Our neighbor gave us a present for HER birthday.
Isn't that a neat idea?
She bought us a Book of Mormon chess game
because she noticed our boys playing with some broken and missing pieces.

IDEA #2:
My sister also did something awesome on her birthday.
She did meaningful service to as many people as years old she was that day.
She said it was so much more fulfilling than expecting things from others and being disappointed.
