Pop Drops

I gave Packer some candies to pop in his mouth
for every 5 pages he reads out of the book of Mormon
to help motivate him to finish. He is going crazy... He's racing Donny.
They are about a day away from finishing.
Boy are my kids motivated by food!

Easter and Unleavened Bread

We ate unleavened bread all week to celebrate the passover.
I made a ton of wheat thin crackers and rice and bought a ton of corn tortillas.
This was a true challenge for me because I love baking bread so much.
Sunday morning, we had "Manna" (breadsticks) on our grass for the kids to gather up!
We also watched "The Ten Commandments" to learn about the first passover.

Giving instead of Getting on your birthday

IDEA #1:
Our neighbor gave us a present for HER birthday.
Isn't that a neat idea?
She bought us a Book of Mormon chess game
because she noticed our boys playing with some broken and missing pieces.

IDEA #2:
My sister also did something awesome on her birthday.
She did meaningful service to as many people as years old she was that day.
She said it was so much more fulfilling than expecting things from others and being disappointed.
