Potty Words

Hunter has had quite a potty mouth lately.
We've tried several consequences to try to change him.
1- Cleaning a toilet for every potty word
(we even had to use neighbor's toilets on days
where he had done all of ours too many times that day)
2- Drinking vinegar (1/2 t. per word)
3- Memorizing Primary Songs
I had a great idea that he needed to expand his vocabulary.
Every day to earn his snack, he memorizes a primary song and sings it to me.

So, this morning while he was doing his regular housework- cleaning toilets-
I noticed him singing the articles of faith and I had to capture it!

Mother's Day

My dad took a picture of my family on Mother's Day.
(My mom helped get us smiling-
both during the photo and afterwards on photo-shop)
I love it!
It captures how much light and goodness
fills my life because God has blessed me with
a wonderful husband and children who call me "Mother."

Happy Benson

This is my cute Benson boy!
He has been one of my hardest babies,
but as a toddler- he is a delight.
I'm guessing his change of nature is a result
of nutrition and mobility.
What a great addition he is to our family.

I think this kid needs a sandbox.
He loves to dump my grains in my pantry.
(Which I don't mind- it keeps him busy while I cook)
You can tell he has older sisters who dress him up too.
Benson wants to join in what his older siblings do.
He gets his "bike" out every day when they all ride off to school.
And, he gets his broom out after every meal to help clean up.

Before & After

It's amazing how good it feels (and looks) to eat healthy!
Donny has really slimmed up over the last several months.
(about 25 pounds lighter)
You can only notice it in his swimsuit
since most of his fat was easily hidden.
This picture was taken at Snowbird last August.
Here is a picture of Donny weighing himself this morning.
(This is about 9 months later)
